Ivan Gayton

Ivan Gayton has worked in silviculture since 1990 as a planter, chainsaw jockey, project manager, and trainer.  He managed large-scale stand tending projects for 7 years with Brinkman & Associates Reforestation, a world leader in reforestation.  Working with Brinkman, Ivan helped develop innovative stand tending programs with several major clients, as well as training planters, brushers, forepersons, and running First Nations training programs. Since 2003 Ivan has divided his time between building health care structures and delivering life-saving water and sanitation in war-torn areas of Africa with Doctors Without Borders, and working in the Canadian forest with RBC Inc.

Marc Robillard

Marc started planting trees in 1988 in rural Québec. His love and passion for the job brought him out west in 1990. By 1994, Marc ran and operated Big Bird Silviculture. In 1996, Big Bird sold its equipment to Brinkman and Associates, one of the world's most respected silviculture companies. Marc started running projects for Brinkman and Associates in 1996. Canfor, Weyerhaeuser, Alberta Plywood, Western Forest Products, Interfor and Slocan Forest Products are some of Marc's very satisfied clients. It was an honour to have a multi-year direct award with those clients. Marc is responsible for the tending and planting of millions of trees for those clients alone. Marcs other domain expertise includes community greening, stream cleaning and bio engineering.
